Breeding Services

 Beginning in 2009, Stonewall Acres will be offering breeding services to mare owners.   With almost 20 years of breeding experience, we are able to provide top quality experienced care whether it be for AI, foaling out,  or problem mares - we can handle it.   We utilize the services of Woodford Equine Veterinary Hospital, a leading equine practice in Lexington, KY.  With the assistance of experienced reproduction specialists, we are able to give every mare specialized care and utilize the most current techniques and technology available to help get your mare in foal the first try.   Melanie Mader is a veterinary technician with experience in all aspects of equine care but a specific love and dedication to the reproductive needs of mares & stallions.

Stonewall Acres is also a Waterfall Farm Associate farm for 2010.  Please feel free to contact us for all of your stallion contracts, breeding needs, or pedigree analysis.  We are able to work directly with Waterfall Farms in Shelbyville, TN to better serve clients in the KY/OH area.  Don't want to send your mare all the way to TN?  We will gladly assist with AI, shipping semen, or trailer breeding.  We keep our mare care prices reasonable so you can get the most value for your money.

Don't want to stay up at night?? Let us foal out your mare.  We have had many years experience with foaling out mares and the care and treatment of the neonatal foal. 

Mare Care: We offer top quality mare care, and treat each customer's mare as if it were our own.  Mares go home in a condition as good as, or often better than, when they arrived. 

Mare only: $8/day            Mare w/ foal: $10/day -   We continue to keep our mare care reasonable so you can get the most value for your dollar!

Foaling Out of Mare:  $200 

Semen Pickup available - Price varies depending on location of breeding facility.
