Horses For Sale
At Stonewall Acres, we offer a quality selection of pleasure riding and show horses for sale at all times. Please check back often as we add and change this page as horses sell or become available for purchase.
Our Pleasure horses are professionally started and trained both on the ground and under saddle to be reliable and sensible out on the trails. Our horses are started off right, we won't tolerate any biting, kicking, or bad manners. They learn to clip, tie, lead, bathe, and load into the trailer. Then we spend the time in the saddle working them in as many situations as possible - riding alone as well as with others, crossing water, getting accustomed to traffic, jumping logs, traversing steep and slippery terrain, and experiencing different game species. Their gaits are fine tuned to make them smooth, easy to ride, and enjoyable.
What sets Stonewall Acres apart from other farms? We offer well bred, well trained horses which we have bred and/or raised or are consigned by close friends/clients. We know their complete history, know where they have been, and can attest to their health and care. Our horses are sound and healthy, and we welcome prospective buyers to obtain a pre-purchase exam if they so desire. Stonewall Acres isn't a resale farm, buying cheap and selling to unsuspecting buyers. Stonewall Acres values good customers who are looking to give our horses a permanent home. We price our horses fairly, based on their quality, pedigree, and experience, and will offer a discount on multiple horse purchases.
Do you need horse transportation? Please visit our Equine Transportation page for a list of reputable professional shippers.
To contact us regarding one of these fine horses please call (270)792-6674 anytime.
To view some of the horses we have sold, please visit our Stonewall Graduates page! If you see something there you like, often we have another comparable horse available, just let us know.
**** VIDEOS: Videos will be added/updated as we are able to make them. The video clips on this page should give you an idea about the horses, but if you would like to request a DVD, we'll be happy to mail one to you. We try to give ample video to make an accurate assessment of the horse's gait, but if you would like a video of something specific, please let us know and we will try to accomodate your specific request .
We Thank each and every person who took the time to inquire about, come look at, and/or purchase one of our fine horses. We value your business and are happy to know that you will provide our "kids" with wonderful homes where they will be loved and appreciated! Thanks so much!!!!!

All American Son

All American Son aka "Woody" is a handsome, level headed 15h black gelding, coming 4 years old. Woody has been trail ridden in the woods, on roads, and out in fields and is a sensible, sane willing partner. He has plenty of get up & go for those that want to move on, but is also happy to walk on a simple voice command. His gait is smooth & natural, just give him a simple "cluck" and sit there and enjoy. He is comfortable in trail situations, fine with traffic, dogs, and new situations that have come his way. Woody will readily head out alone, or in groups, and won't race you back to the barn. He has a smooth head shaking walk, and will move out at speed in a smooth tracking trail gait. This nice horse would be a suitable mount for field trials as well. He sets up in the bridle nicely and has an easy mouth. Woody is well mannered, likes people, and is a "no fuss, no muss" kind of horse. Well broke & enjoyable, he is ready to hit the trails with about anyone. Woody is a registered TWH, sired by the great All American Cash. UTD on vaccinations & worming, Asking $2250
VIDEO COMING SOON!
Jazz Showcase

Jazz Showcase aka "Casey" is a BEAUTIFUL sorrel/flax mane & tail coming 4 year old gelding. He stands 15.3h, with a long graceful neck and plenty of leg. He has enough height to suit any size rider (and still may get another inch or so of growth!) Casey is one of the smoothest horses I have ridden in a LONG time.... barefoot! He has a nice flat walk with some head shake, or can move out with some speed and stay smooth as well. He has good ground manners, stands well tied, bathes, clips, etc. Loads & hauls well. He will go out alone or with others... it doesn't matter to him. He looks pretty under tack, wears the bridle well, and rides easily on a light rein. Casey is happy to walk along slowly or pick it up with a light squeeze of your legs. Casey has been trail ridden extensively by an older gentleman his whole life, he has plenty of trail experience in the trails & game preserves of Western KY, TN, & IN. He doesn't mind dogs, traffic, or new situations. He is sensible & sane. Casey is registered & has a good pedigree, with Generator's Showboat on top and out of a Jazz Man mare. UTD on vaccinations & worming. A super nice horse that will make all your friends jealous & get you compliments where ever you go!! Asking $3000

Marina Del Ray SOLD!!!!

Marina is a 15.2h, copper chestnut 2 year old filly by WGC A Specialist and out of a direct Ritz mare, 2nd dam is directly by The Pusher CG. This talented filly is a snap to ride, very consistent and easy. She has a smooth 4 beat walk & shake with good overstride, suitable for showing or comfortable on a trail ride. She has been trail ridden and will handle new places and situations with a level head. No matter where I have taken her, she has always settled right in and never offered to booger at anything. Marina will handle trail situations with ease, alone or in company. We have several dogs that run through the woods with us as we trail ride and she never notices they are there. She crosses water, handles road traffic fine, navigates steep and rocky terrain easily and will listen to her rider in difficult situations. A simple "easy" or a little cluck gets a response. She clips, bathes, stands in the crossties well for tacking & grooming, stands well for mounting & dismounting. With looks, gait, and a pedigree like hers, she will make an outstanding future broodmare prospect as well.
