About The Farm
Started on over 200 acres of prime farm land in the heart of the bluegrass in 1992, Stonewall Acres established itself with distinction as a breeding and training facility of top quality colts. After many years of successful years of showing & raising horses, we have scaled back our operation and made the decision to relocate to the heart of Walking Horse country - Shelbyville, Tennessee. We are now better able to serve our clients as a mare care station & breeding facility.
A strong focus at Stonewall Acres is the care and health of the horses that live here. We feed a nutritionist designed, custom mixed feed with added nutrients, top quality, locally grown alfalfa mixed hay, and follow strict vaccination and worming schedule. Each horse is inspected daily for any signs of injury or illness. We utilize the services of Rolling Hills Equine Clinic to keep our horses healthy and sound.
